Best. Day. Ever.

Ok, maybe not really the best day ever, but it was pretty good. Ya know why? I will tell you! I found Season One of The Secret World of Alex Mack at the library today!!! I used to love love love this show when I was like 7. Remember all those great early '90s Nickelodeon shows like Clarissa Explains It All, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Hey Dude, and Salute Your Shorts (just to name a few)?! Well if you don't remember then you must be either really old or really young. :) Anyways, if you haven't seen these shows, you should probably head to the local library and see what you can find. I own the first season of Clarissa Explains It All thanks to my brother, and I know The Adventures of Pete & Pete is available on DVD as well. I did NOT know (until I researched right now) that some of these other shows are available for download through iTunes! I know what I'll be doing tonight! Ok, so yeah, I'm probably getting a little overly excited about this discovery, but it definitely made my day. I'm sure you are over it by now... so moving on.

I did a little bit of thrifting today. One of my favorite thrift stores was having a huge 50% off store-wide sale! I got an awesome vintage swivel rocking chair which I'll be posting pictures of very soon. Oh yeah, and it was only $7! I also got a few books. Can never have too many books, right? Until it's time to move them all. Ugh. I try not to think about that when buying books though. Overall it's been a good day, and it's turning into a good night. Alright, time to watch loads of television and take down the Christmas tree. Yeah, it's still up.
